Andrea Lanubile and Sai Thatipamula Present at Sustainability Data Science Conference 2026
On April 17, we had the chance to present our work at the Sustainability Data Science Conference 2026 at Stanford.
Andrea Lanubile and Sai Thatipamula shared two pieces of ongoing work from our group, both focused on battery estimation.
Andrea Lanubile presented his work focused on state-of-charge (SOC) estimation for LFP batteries. Sai Thatipamula then presented a study centered on health estimation using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS).
The discussion afterward was very engaging, with questions around robustness, uncertainty, and how these methods could scale to real systems.
Overall, it was a great opportunity to share how combining physics and data science can help address timely and practical challenges in battery research, and to connect with a broader community working at this interface.
