Bird's eye view of the Stanford Energy Control Laboratory (SECL) from different angles

The Stanford Energy Control Laboratory (SECL) is aimed towards physics-based model development, optimization, diagnostics, and prognostics of advanced energy storage systems for automotive and stationary storage applications. The facilities and equipment in the laboratory can be classified into the following categories:

  1. Battery Testing System-Arbin
  2. Battery Testing System-EIS
  3. Thermal Chamber
  4. Hardware-in-the-Loop Setup
  5. Battery-in-the-Loop Setup
  6. High Performance Computing
